Conductive wheels and antistatic wheels are widely used in almost all industrial sectors. Conductive materials have a low electrical resistance, allowing charges to flow to the ground or to another conductive material. When you are moving medical or electronic equipment, a small shock from touching a metal object with static buildup can become a big problem, while the wheel tread is made of conductive materials that can effectively preventing electrostatic discharge.
High strength polyurethane tread is bonded to a nylon core. Tread is molded in, around and through a ribbed extension of the core to prevent debonding. A very attractive, all purpose wheel. Resistant to most chemicals, solvents, water and acids.
